The Taos, NM real estate market is influenced heavily by vacation and resort property ownership. There are few who relocate to Taos for jobs, though the local hospital has been growing at a rapid rate. On the bright side, Taos is obviously a place people want to be and recreate. Otherwise, sellers would be more prone to bargaining on the sale of their home or land. Taos is a place many people want to enjoy every year, and more every year are looking to Taos real estate as their goal for retirement.
