web company in asia

We already wrote about various power suits, but this one differs in its purpose. A Tokyo Agriculture and Technology (TAT) University postgraduate student is seen demonstrating the new power-assist suit for elderly agriculture workers, developed by Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology professor Shigeki Toyama. He plans to set up a company in order to start producing the futuristic outfit by the end of the year.

The team has developed a heavy-duty 30 kilogram (66 pound) model, for lifting big loads and pulling vegetables out of the ground, and a 23 kilogram version designed for lighter tasks such as picking grapes. Unlike the other power suits meant to enhance the strength, this power suit reduces the muscular activity while the user is performing tasks as picking or crouching. They are developing algorithms in order to enable the power suit to perform more tasks without an effort.

The metal-and-plastic exoskeleton boasts eight electric motors that amplify the strength of the wearer’s arms and legs, as well as sensors that can detect movements and respond to commands through a voice-recognition system. The inventors claim the robo-suits can reduce the user’s physical effort by 62 percent on average

“If the farmer bends over to grasp a radish, his back will be firmly supported,” said Gohei Yamamoto, one of the students working on the team, as he recently demonstrated the suit on his university campus. “A brief vocal instruction will instantly straighten the rods along his legs, giving him the power he needs to pull the vegetable without effort.”

By the end of the year Toyama plans to start working on augmented reality glasses (goggles) on which useful information could be displayed for the farmer. Useful information might include how ripe the grapes are, or the user’s heart rate and calorie consumption, said Toyama. “The goggles would tell you for instance how long you’ve been working and when you should rest.”

The suit should hit the Japanese market in 2012, when it will initially retail for about one million yen ($ 11,000), a price tag its makers hope to halve if the device is mass-produced, the team said. “I doubt that the suit would sell in Europe and in America, where foreign migrants workers often perform farm-related tasks,” Toyama said.

Te suit still needs to be less clunky regarding its size as well as the performance, since it seemed a bit unnatural in the demonstration. We hope the next generation is more organic and that it will conform with the human body as some of the other power suits.

(Gawkwire.com) In my work with web hosting companies and also those designers and developers looking for a website host, I often encounter a specific set of needs that falls clearly under a web hosting niche. Why would a hosting company focus on a niche? Which niches are out there for those desiring a great hosting provider? Here are a few specifics.

Niching by Price
Probably the most obvious and pervasive niche in website hosting is that of price. One typically sees three tranches of pricing emerge: discounters, mid-tier providers, and premium hosting services. Examples of discounters would be: 1 and 1, and GoDaddy. Mid-tier companies are represented by firms like Hostway. Premium hosting is the scope of web hosting companies like Orcsweb and Rackspace.

Geographical Niches
While web hosting is easily accessed via an Internet connection anywhere on the globe, there are still strong boundaries of culture, language and currency that draw customers to a local firm. For example in Japan one will prefer to read website content in the Japanese language, access sales and support in Japanese, and pay bills in Yen. There are as many examples of geographic website hosting niches as there are countries. Here are just a couple of website hosting companies in this niche: UK website hosting firm 34SP.com and Australia’s Digital Pacific.

Niching by Operating System
A powerful niche can emerge based on supplying a particular operating system. Since most web hosting companies prefer a LAMP (Linux, apache, mySQL, php) environment, the prevalent OS in this niche is Linux. Typical of this type of host is linuxwebhost.com. Another operating system that has tremendous market power is the Microsoft developed and supported OS – Windows (now Windows Server 2008 or ASP.NET). Microsoft has built this niche among Windows developers. Hosts specializing in the Microsoft platform would be DiscountASP.NET and Maximum ASP. Another operating system that was once much larger, but is now being replaced by Windows and Linux is ColdFusion. Although ColdFusion is typically installed over a Windows operating system, it has properties that make it unique and desirable for ColdFusion developers. HostMySite.com is a web hosting firm that offers strong expertise in ColdFusion.

Reseller Hosts
It is possible to buy multiple accounts from just about any web host. However, those companies that have developed the reseller niche have honed their expertise in making accounts that hold a bundle of separate websites under one owner. These reseller accounts also often come with substantial discounts for each sub-account. This enables the account holder to resell the hosting and gain a profit. Examples of reseller hosts include the venerable HostGator and Resellers Panel.

Niche by Account Type
Another very common segregation of web hosting firms occurs by account type. These are usually a separation between shared accounts, VPS and dedicated servers. Shared hosts offer multiple customer accounts sharing a common server. For example, DiscountASP.NET. VPS companies have fewer virtual accounts per server – often with isolated environments and guaranteed resources. An example would be SliceHost. Dedicated server firms will give a single server to each customer. An example would be managed dedicated hosting firm NaviSite.

As you can see, there are many ways that website hosting companies have created niches for themselves and their customers. While the above list is certainly not exhaustive, it does give you a sense of how the marketplace has established niches for both buyers and sellers of website hosting products and services.

can I sell shop quickly soon ?

If you've been trying to sell your home quicker, it's only normal to have various issues looking at the current climate of things. Despite this, there are ways and means of making it happen, and it will need you to put in some energy .

It seems obvious but correctly pricing your property is quite important. So if your property is just sitting on the market unsold then the price is just not ideal. hire a Skilled Appraiser to assess the price range of your home. They will help you get that short term apartments

Add in certain incentives to make the new buyer to notice of your house and entice them to buy it, for example cash back to the buyer, free furniture, etc.

Working with an experienced Estate Agent will facilitate you find a buyer for your home in the minimum amount of time and a buyer that will spend the highest amount of cash.Occasionally not employing an agent to save on commisions, or working with a more affordable agent, may possibly be a bogus saving as the better value Agents may not give you the chance to secure you the best value and the earlier sales.

A neutral canvas is a lot more interesting especially when buyers can picture a property as their own .

Another choice you can go for a house purchasing agency if you want to sell your home asap, and cannot really meet the expense of to renovate it to make it more attractive to home buyers. A agency that will assist short term apartments, by buying it from you. They will on most occasions make you a below market offer for your house. It's their business to try this and you probably should not become angry if the deal is really low.

Governor Tim Pawlenty will lead a trade mission to China and Japan this fall to help Minnesota companies increase exports, build strategic relationships, and explore new business opportunities.

The mission takes place September 9-18 and includes stops in Shanghai and Beijing, China and Tokyo and Osaka, Japan for meetings with business leaders and government officials, presentations by market and industry leaders, networking activities and business site visits. The delegation will also travel to Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province. Minnesota has had a sister-state agreement with Shaanxi Province since 1982.

The economies of Japan and China rank second and third, respectively, behind the United States as the largest national economies in the world.

“China and Japan have dynamic economies that provide significant opportunities for Minnesota businesses interested in increasing their exports,” Governor Pawlenty said. “We’re looking forward to building on the relationships established through the Minnesota-China Partnership and making new connections in Japan.”

The Minnesota-China Partnership, announced by Governor Pawlenty in 2005, engages public and private organizations throughout the state to promote trade and investment, science and academia, arts and culture, and friendship and humanitarian endeavors.

“China and Japan are important marketplaces for Minnesota companies,” said Ed Dieter, Minnesota Trade Office acting director. “Japan has long offered excellent markets for Minnesota products, and any company doing business internationally should consider China’s tremendous and continuing growth.”

China buys more Minnesota manufactured goods than any country after Canada, importing more than $1 billion of Minnesota products every year since 2005. Top exports to China include machinery, including electrical machinery, medical instruments and plastics.

Japan also offers a wide variety of opportunities. Minnesota’s most important exports to Japan include medical instruments, electrical and other machinery, food, grain and other agricultural commodities.

In the fourth quarter of 2009, Minnesota exports increased to four of our state’s top ten trading markets, including China ($363 million, up 19 percent) and Japan ($226 million, up 6 percent). Korea ($129 million, up 20 percent) and Australia ($112 million, up 31 percent) were the other two markets in the top ten that showed an increase.

The trade mission is being coordinated by the Minnesota Trade Office (MTO).

Those interested in applying to join the trade delegation should contact Li King Feng, 651-259-7484 or li.king.feng@state.mn.us , or Jennifer Kocs, 651-259-7488 or jennifer.kocs@state.mn.us.

MTO is focused on increasing state export sales in foreign markets. MTO promotes international trade by providing export information, export education and training, and counseling to Minnesota companies that wish to sell goods and services in the international marketplace.

Governor Pawlenty has led previous trade missions to Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, the Czech Republic, India, Israel and Poland. Delegation members pay their own expenses. Expenses incurred by the Governor’s office for this trade mission will be paid from trade mission participant funds, not taxpayer funds.

Real estate directory, you need one??

View from the Ridge by Darius Mesmer

sell properties quick

OLD SAYBROOK - Whether it's on Connecticut license plates, the town's police department cruisers, or the directory sign at the Ocean State Job Lot shopping center, everyone is familiar with Old Saybrook's 1886 Breakwater Lighthouse.

While the lighthouse is expected to be maintained by a new owner, its future is expected to shine as bright as ever.

The National Park Service, NPS, in conjunction with the U.S. General Service Administration, GSA, and the U.S. Coast Guard, is declaring the lighthouse "excess property" allowing federal agencies, state and local governments, and non-profit organizations to apply to own a unique piece of real estate.

As soon as a "notice of availability" is issued on the NPS Web site, representatives from these groups can apply to own this unique piece of real estate.

NPS reviews applications and is expected to choose a single applicant who would own the lighthouse free of charge, however there is a catch.

According to Paula Santangelo, Public Affairs Officer for the GSA's New England Division, those applying to own the lighthouse must meet specific requirements as stated in the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act of 2000.

Information about this act is available at http://www.nps.gov/history/maritime/nhlpa/nhlpa.htm.

"The eligible entity to which the historic light station is conveyed must make the station available for education, park, recreation, cultural, or historic preservation purposes for the general public at reasonable times and under reasonable conditions," according to the NPS Web site.

Santangelo said private tours of the lighthouse are given by her agency to those interested in owning title to it.

If none of the groups meet the requirements, the GSA can sell the lighthouse to a private owner.

Santangelo said no matter who the owner is, the U.S. Coast Guard, which has traditionally been the parent owner of lighthouses, would continue to maintain the navigational beacon portion of the lighthouse which consists of a flashing green light.

Of the 28 lighthouses made available during 2001 and 2002 through the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act, only eight were transferred to private owners.

While the agency projects the transfer of ownership will happen in 2007, Santangelo said that it could be later since lighthouse tours cannot be given in the winter.

The Breakwater Lighthouse, also known as the Outer Light, is distinguished by its cast iron, brick lining, concrete caisson, and limited accessibility.

The only way of accessing the lighthouse is by boat or by walking the breakwater which is located off a private road in Fenwick.

When the lighthouse was built, it had a 1,000 pound fog bell which was soon replaced by a 250 pound bell after residents objected to the noise.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the Breakwater Light experienced its most devastating hurricane on September 21, 1938 which caused the lighthouse to lose a bridge to the breakwater, its platform, and a 12-foot row boat.

While the storm carried away a 1,500 gallon tank of kerosene, the lighthouse keeper was able to keep the lighthouse lit throughout the storm.

Old Saybrook's other lighthouse, the 1803 Inner Light at Lynde Point, which is characterized by its granite pier, brownstone blocks, red and white markings and grey lantern, will continue to be owned by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Neither lighthouse is currently open to the public.

Differentways to sell your home

Have you ever wondered how to sell a house quickly? How some houses on your street sell as soon as an estate agent board goes up and how other houses are on sale for months or even years? This is not a riddle, but has more to do with knowing some of the basics which could help you to sell your home quickly. People’s confidence in the housing market fell rapidly, and to its lowest in the past 30 years.

On Sale by m_chan2007

As if there aren’t enough things to worry about when you want to sell your home , for the past year we have also had to put the credit crunch and its effects into the equation an its effect on buy my houses

The majority of people can only buy a home with a mortgage from a bank or similar. At the moment this has become difficult unless you have a huge deposit or even a flawless credit history. Some reports say that home re-possessions by banks are gradually increasing. This may be avoided if one is able to quickly sell their property . One avenue to buy my houses is through an auction, and maybe even from a list of properties that have been re-possessed. Some buyers are investors, and might offer cash in order to gain a quick sale, and so avoiding eviction. The balance goes to the seller, and so the bank would receive the money for the mortgage as they would have first charge. It helps if your property is in is clean and tidy too. This is one of the things to help your property sell faster.

Another thing to consider is there could be a stock of homes floating on the market unsold. The credit crunch has also affected buyers ability to get a bank loan or mortgage, so finding a buyer for your property who also has the finances is going to be difficult . Mortgage lending by banks is also low, which could only add to the problems. If this may be problematic for buyers, then it could also affect property owners too. Which could be why you are thinking about selling your house quickly.

Maybe my site could be similar to this one with a bit of work? I don't know, what do you reckon?

Property market in dire straights, do you wonder what will happen next?

rent back my home

I like to travel, its probably one of my favorite things to do in my free time, or when i just need a break and some R&R. But traveling now isn't what it used to be, everything is constantly changing at a rapid rate. Every single thing changed: the airplanes, the airplane seats, the airplane food, the entertainment while in air, the quick ticket machines so you don't have to stand in line anymore etc. But things have also changed accommodation wise. You don't have to stay in a hotel, motel or inn anymore. There's a boundless choice of options awaiting you. Here's a few of my favorite sites to visit whenever I'm looking to stay somewhere other than a hotel. You can pick from beach houses, houses on the lake, houses in a general area, condos, cottages, ranches, farms. I even saw an island for sale once, and for a really cheap price!

VRBO - Vacation Rentals By Owner - This sites really cool because you can pick almost anywhere to stay, big islands, little islands, inlets, country, suburb, city, rural, lake, ocean. It doesn't matter where you want to go or where your interested in staying, you will find it on this site. And not only will you find many different places to go or to stay but you will also find some really great prices. This is my top pick!

VacationRentals - I like this one because you can choose what property type you want ie; house, condo, cottage etc.

VacationHomes - This site has a lot of good deals. In fact I think everyone just goes here when they have a deal on their property. So i just go here simply for the deals.

HomeAway - Another really cool site that will even let you receive emails when a certain property is available that you've been waiting on, or it lets you know when a certain property is available, that you might like. make sure you fill out the form so it will send you only the stuff your interested in.

HouseBoating.org - This site among a few others are really unique. You can rent a houseboat for your vacation. These houseboats are the lap of luxury but wont cost you an arm and a leg. Some of the other sites even give you an indoor/outdoor 360 degree view so you can see exactly what its like before you even rent it! Check this type of accommodation out if your really looking for something different! The very last thing you can do if your completely stuck and cant find whatever it is your looking for, is if you know where you want to go you can go to the city or states official web page and take a look under the tourism or travel section. This will also show you some places you can stay in that are hotels & inns but also some of the other property types I mentioned above.

I really like the sites I picked above, because a lot of the time I don't want to stay in a hotel. I want a whole house to myself, or I want to stay on the beach or the lake, or I might have a few friends going with me and I want privacy etc. Whatever your reason is, I'm sure you will find some really great places at the above sites! Have fun!
